2. Hosting and server logs
Technically necessary data (IP address, time, requested page, user agent) is processed in server logs for security and operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
3. Cookies
We only use technically necessary cookies (session, CSRF protection). No tracking, no external fonts, no analytics or advertising services.
4. Customer account and orders
For purchases and licence management we process name, e-mail, password (hash only), billing address, optional company and VAT ID, and order/invoice data (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR; statutory retention periods apply).
5. Payments via Mollie
Payments are processed by Mollie B.V., Keizersgracht 126, 1015 CW Amsterdam, Netherlands.
6. Licence activation and updates
When activating and periodically checking the licence (at program start when online, at most about every 12 hours) PDFnord transmits the licence key, a hashed device ID, device name, Windows version and app version. We store these together with IP address and time to prevent licence abuse and to let you manage devices in your account. Your PDF documents are never transmitted – they are processed locally only.
7. Your rights
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection (Art. 15–21 GDPR) and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
