Is PDFnord a subscription?
No. You buy a licence once and use PDFnord permanently. There is no term and no automatic renewal.
How much does PDFnord cost?
PDFnord Standard 2026 costs a one-time €149, PDFnord Pro 2026 a one-time €199 – each incl. 19% VAT per device. From 2 licences volume pricing applies (Standard: €139, €129, €119; Pro: €185, €172, €159 per licence).
Can I try PDFnord before buying?
Yes. Download and install PDFnord for free. Without an activated licence you can open and read PDFs; activate a licence to edit. [Trial period to be defined]
On how many devices can I use a licence?
One licence covers one device. When you get a new PC, release the old device in your account (up to 3 releases in 30 days) and activate the licence on the new one.
What are the system requirements?
Windows 10 or Windows 11 (64-bit) with .NET Framework 4.8 (included in current Windows versions). An internet connection is required for activation and the licence check about every 7 days.
Does PDFnord work offline?
Yes. All PDF features run locally. After activation you can work offline for up to 30 days; afterwards a short online check is enough.
Are my documents uploaded?
No. PDFnord processes your files only on your computer. Only licence data (activation and checks) and the update check are transmitted.
Are updates included?
Yes, all updates for version 2026 are included and offered inside the app.
How do I get my licence key?
By e-mail right after payment and at any time in your customer account under “Licences”, where you will also find your invoices.
Which payment methods are available?
Payments are processed securely by Mollie, e.g. credit card, PayPal, SEPA bank transfer and other offered methods.
Do I get a VAT invoice?
Yes. You automatically receive an invoice showing VAT – with company name and VAT ID if provided.
What is the difference between Standard and Pro?
Both editions are the same program. PDFnord Pro 2026 (one-time €199 incl. VAT) additionally unlocks pro tools: redact confidential content, create web forms, convert scans into editable PDF files and marketing tools that generate flyers, social media content and presentations from your documents.
Can I upgrade from Standard to Pro later?
Yes. In your customer account under “Licences” you can upgrade any Standard licence to Pro for the price difference (currently €50 incl. VAT). Your licence key stays the same – PDFnord unlocks the Pro features automatically at the next online check.
